As a Team Leader you'll play a key role in managing a high-performing administrative team and ensuring the seamless delivery of our services.
In this role, your main responsibilities will be:
* To have responsibility for the management and guidance of staff
* To ensure that all enquiries and complaints are satisfactorily progressed
* To respond to queries from members of the public, other departments within the organisation or other outside agencies
* To prioritise and manage workloads
* To oversee the maintenance, creation and updating of a variety of computerised databases
* To undertake the preparation of statistical data when required
* To be responsible for correspondence relating to the office
* To quality assure decision making based on guidance and policy
Skills and experience required:
* Computer Literate
* Administration experience
* Ability to make use of information technology applications
* Ability to supervise staff
* Ability to motivate staff to work together as a team
* Ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing) with both small and large group

Additional Information:
Interviews are scheduled to take place week commencing 6th October 2025.
The successful candidate for this role will have the opportunity to work from home whilst also at a secondary work location, which can be either Bridewell, Bridgwater, Kenneth Steele House, or Police HQ in Portishead.
