Youll be a technical expert within a production role and its a given that you will have experience of factory systems, ideally within an FMCG environment. Reporting into the Shift Area Operational Leader youll also have Knowledge of continuous improvement and an eye for improving systems and processes Ability to recognise technical concepts, a problem solving mind-set and able to soak up new information quickly Experience of training and coaching colleagues to standards An excellent knowledge of Health & Safety requirements Experience of influencing others through confident communication Strong prioritisation skills, and be able to organise your own time The confidence to be accountable, taking ownership and driving your own initiative The ability to bounce back, be self-motivated even under tough circumstances Strong working relationships, and able to work with lots of different people and teams Shift Pattern. The shift pattern is 2 days 7am-7pm, 1 day off, 2 nights 7pm-7am followed by 3 days off. Location. Youll be based at our Scarborough plant in North Yorkshire. We opened this plant back in the swinging sixties, but its definitely not stuck in the past. Its one of the largest French fry factories in the world and after a recent development, its also one of the most high tech.
