Responsibilities:
* Provide support and care for vulnerable young people in a residential setting.
* Assist with daily routines, activities, and personal care.
* Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for the children.
* Implement care plans and follow safeguarding procedures.
* Build positive relationships with young people and promote their well-being.
* Document observations and report any concerns or incidents.
* Work effectively as part of a team and communicate with other professionals.
Requirements
* Driving Licence: Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
* Business Insurance: Must have business insurance added to vehicle policy.
* Enhanced DBS: Must possess an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
* Restraint Training: Must be restraint trained or wiling to undertake a course provided by Randstad.
* Social Care Wales Registration: Must be registered with Social Care Wales.
* Residential Experience: Essential residential experience supporting vulnerable young people.
* Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different placements.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
