Overview
We are seeking a talented Junior Project Manager to support the ISS Programme Manager in delivering specific In-Service Support (ISS) projects. These projects vary in size and complexity, from providing on-site support to build-to-print projects. The ISS Support Manager will be part of a small team providing support covering spares, repairs, and Field Service Engineering.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with engineering and project teams to achieve results.
* Participate in meetings, contributing insights to shape the business.
* Maintain organized documentation following procedures.
* Liaise with customers on current orders/projects.
Experience needed:
* Team player mentality, supportive environment.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
* Quick learner with flexible engineering approach.
* Accurate, diligent, customer-focused.
* Understanding of In-Service Support (spares, repairs).
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Good communication skills.
* Experience in Defence/Aerospace or safety regulated environments advantageous.
* Experience in Naval/Maritime domain advantageous.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., APM).
* Knowledge of working with UK protectively marked material.
* Experience managing MoD projects.
* Experience with IFS or similar systems.
* Self-organized and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
* Willingness to learn and develop.
