We currently have a Deputy Team Manager post within Foster Wales Swansea - Family and Friends Team, Child & Family Services. The post is full time and permanent. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified social workers who have worked at a senior level to expand their experience and knowledge at Deputy manager/ Practice Lead level. You will be working within a stable and committed staff team who are highly focused upon working with kinship carers to keep children safe within their family unit wherever possible.
The role includes all aspects assisting the Team Manager in the effective management of The Family & Friends Team.
As a Deputy Manager will work alongside the other Deputy Managers of the service to assist the Family & Friends Team to fulfil the requirements of the service. This includes supervision, support and mentoring of the staff team to achieve their potential and to provide a high-quality service to children and families. You will be fully supported to develop in this role by the team Manager and other Deputy managers in the team.
