Role Overview:
* We are seeking a senior Payment Solution Architect with deep experience in banking and payments to own architecture decisions for a suite of payment applications. The role focuses on defining end-to-end solution designs, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards, and guiding delivery teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performance payment systems .
Key Responsibilities:
* Own and drive architecture design and decisions across multiple payment applications.
* Define solution vision, system interactions, interfaces, and non-functional requirements.
* Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Lead architecture trade-off decisions covering scalability, security, resilience, and availability.
* Act as a trusted advisor to technology leadership, product owners, and delivery teams.
* Drive adoption of architecture standards, patterns, and roadmaps.
* Mentor junior architects and collaborate with global delivery teams.
Required Experience & Skills:
* 20+ years in IT with 10+ years in Solution Architecture.
* 5+ years in Banking / Financial Services, preferably Payments.
* Strong expertise in microservices architecture, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers, Kafka, and distributed systems.
* Proven experience designing high-throughput, low-latency applications.
* Strong background in architecture governance, design reviews, and decision documentation.
* Experience working across Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
