GSL Education are seeking a thoughtful RE Teacher to join schools in Sheffield (S2, S3), delivering engaging lessons that help students understand different religions, traditions, and perspectives. As Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will plan and deliver structured Religious Education lessons that encourage discussion, reflection, and critical thinking in a supportive classroom environment. Main responsibilities: Deliver well-prepared RE lessons covering a range of religions and ethical topics Encourage respectful discussion and open-minded thinking Support students in understanding cultural and religious diversity Maintain a positive and focused learning environment Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback Candidate requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Experience working as RE Teacher in a school setting Strong communication and classroom management skills Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) What’s in It for You?
