Maintenance Engineer Electrically Biased
Location: Sudbury
Salary: £47,500
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm
Im currently partnering with a leading manufacturing company based in the Sudbury area, who are entering an exciting phase of development with several new projects underway. As a result of this continued investment and growth, they are looking to appoint a Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased) to join their established engineering team.
The Role
As an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of the sites production machinery. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive business that values continuous improvement, innovation, and employee development.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repair on a wide range of production equipment
* Support in planned, reactive, and preventative maintenance tasks
* Work closely with other engineers to minimise downtime and improve equipment performance
* Assist with ongoing engineering projects, upgrades, and process improvements
* Ensure compliance with site health & safety and engineering standards
Requirements
* Electrically biased engineer with strong technical knowledge
* Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment is beneficial
* Confident in electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and general maintenance
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
