The Engineer Role:
As an Engineer, you’ll join the close-knit team within the welcoming and relaxed Leeds office, working with other Engineers and Technicians across a wide variety of schemes including bridges, structures, and temporary works within rail, nuclear, and building sectors. Your duties will include, although not be limited to:
1. Working within a team of Engineers and Technicians
2. Designing civil & structural schemes and checking designs prepared by others, including producing detailed calculations by hand and through computer models
3. Carrying out inspections, site surveys, and assessments of structures and preparing reports
4. Development of projects across civils, bridges, rail, and complex temporary works
5. Liaising with clients to verify project scope and ensure deliverables
What will you receive in return?
As an Engineer, you would receive a salary in the region of £30,000 to £40,000 - salary level dependent on experience, plus a range of attractive benefits including:

You’ll be employed on a permanent contract, working 40 hours per week. There is flexibility with start and finish times available; however, the core working hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4.30pm.
What do you need to be considered for this Engineer vacancy?
To be considered for this Civil Engineer role, the following experience is preferable - qualifications, skills, knowledge, and attributes:
* Relevant Civil or Structural Engineering degree
* Experience working on bridges, with good adaptable engineering knowledge
* Preferable experience within the rail or nuclear industry
* Strong technical knowledge within assessment and design including inspections, calculations, and analysis of existing structures and new-build design development
* Client-focused approach with effective interpersonal and communication skills
* Full driving licence and own transport
* Independent right to live and work in the UK
