Senior Design Engineer required for an leading precision engineering company, serving industries such as Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage and Chemical Processing with critical components from multiple global locations including 4 UK sites.
This opportunity is based in Huddersfield, meaning the successful Senior Design Engineer will be able to commute from surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Design Engineer will include;
* Interpret technical specifications for designs that meet both contractual obligations and service performance requirements.
* Select appropriate materials and perform engineering calculations to accurately size valve components
* Review and verify the design work produced by other team members to ensure accuracy and quality
* Prepare comprehensive design reports and offer technical input to support sales and tender processes
* Contribute to the development of new products and the integration of emerging technologies
For the role of Senior Design Engineer we are keen to receive applications from individuals who have;
1. Experience as Senior Design Engineer or similar within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment - Ideally 3-5 years' experience
2. Degree or HND in a relevant engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
