Responsibilities
* Project Delivery: Manage end-to-end delivery of MARCUS (Moves, Adds, Retrofits, Changes, Upgrades, and Security) projects and work with the EMCOR UK team to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
* Site Management & Leadership: Oversee day‑to‑day construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and manage trade contractors while ensuring compliance with site protocols.
* Health, Safety & Environment: Enforce EHS standards including LOTO procedures and permit‑to‑work systems, conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain a zero‑harm culture, promote and enforce EMCOR UK and client safety standards, and drive continuous improvement in site safety performance.
* Programme & Quality Control: Monitor progress against the baseline schedule and critical path, implement quality assurance processes and rectify defects promptly.
* Coordination & Communication: Chair weekly trade contractor meetings and monthly look‑ahead sessions, liaise with Google DCS teams and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
* Risk & Change Management: Identify and mitigate construction risks, support the change‑management process, and maintain accurate records.
* Reporting: Provide weekly look‑ahead reports and updates on health, safety, quality, and progress.
Qualifications
* Proven experience managing data centre or critical infrastructure construction projects.
* Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, EHS compliance, and quality standards.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and manage complex site logistics.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS Black Card).
* Degree or equivalent in Construction Management or a related discipline (preferred).
* Experience working with G‑Suite software (preferred).

Benefits and Employment Details
Salary: Competitive + Car allowance.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 am–5 pm.
Contract type: 6‑month FTC.
