This role is full-time (37.5 hours per week). Working hours are 10am-6pm, Monday-Friday, 52 weeks of the year.

Your knowledge, skills and character qualities make you the perfect Kitchen Assistant. You are:
* Passionate about providing wholesome, healthy food for children under five; experience in a professional kitchen enabling meals from a set-menu using fresh ingredients.
* Naturally diligent with excellent attention to detail; knowledge of COSHH, allergens and environmental health legislation to maintain a clean, hygienic kitchen and meet children's dietary requirements.
* An advocate for partnership working; you thrive in a team and build respectful relationships with colleagues, children and parents to promote healthy eating.
The Kitchen Assistant works in partnership with the Nursery Cook to maintain a 5-star food hygiene rating and takes responsibility for the kitchen in the absence of the Nursery Cook.
