The role holder will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians and contractors to provide maintenance services to the site in order to safely and successfully operate the site at the maximum reliability and utilisation. All this is to be done in a safe and sustainable way, in line with agreed cost budget and the Sibelco Values and policies. Key Responsibilities: Overall responsibility for maintenance planning and scheduling Execute maintenance activities on the site by actively communicating with production management to ensure maintenance activities are performed in a timely manner and that the production downtime is limited to a minimum. Support the technicians and/or electricians on the site with difficult activities and/or problems. Plan and manage staff call out rota Management of contractors and contracts that apply to the site Perform activities to fulfil the set of predefined KPI’s Maintain change management and all equipment records Maintain the spare part strategy for all maintenance related stock and manage the spare part warehouse. About You: Experience with leading people and teams Experience with route cause analysis and preventative maintenance scheduling Knowledge of SAP or CMMS platforms advantageous Operating within a glass recycling or similar work environment Qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering HNC/HND an advantage Safety Leadership/ Management training would be advantageous Working to agreed plans and timescales Why Join Us?
