Your Role as a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
In this role, you will:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and social, emotional or mental health needs
* Work closely with class teachers to adapt resources and ensure all students can access the curriculum
* Help students build essential life skills such as independence, communication, and confidence
* Support emotional regulation and behaviour management through consistent, compassionate strategies
* Track and report student progress, contributing to the development of personalised learning plans
Who We’re Looking For
We’re keen to hear from graduates who:
* Hold a degree (ideally 2:1 or above) in Psychology, Education, or a related subject
* Have experience working with young people with SEN, in schools, care settings, or through voluntary work
* Are patient, empathetic, resilient, and genuinely committed to inclusive education
* Have a strong interest in progressing into teaching, educational psychology, therapy, or similar fields
