Associate Director - Facilities Management
Sprinkler Service Engineer
Field-based (office in Orpington)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30am – 5:00pm
Contract: Permanent
Are you a skilled Sprinkler Engineer looking for your next challenge? We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected fire protection company who are looking to expand their service team with an experienced Sprinkler Service Engineer.
This is a field-based role, attending a mix of residential and commercial sites, carrying out servicing and maintenance on sprinkler systems, including wet and dry risers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Service, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems (wet and dry risers)
* Support Managers and wider team on-site as required
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Produce accurate service reports, detailing faults and remedial recommendations
* Communicate effectively with the office team and clients
* Work in full compliance with Health & Safety standards and PPE requirements
* Represent the business with professionalism and a strong customer focus
Requirements:
* Proven experience in servicing residential and commercial sprinkler systems
* Solid understanding of wet & dry risers
* Familiarity with system changeovers and fire alarm interfaces
* Strong knowledge of BS EN12845 and BS 9251 standards
* Mechanical aptitude and hands‑on problem‑solving skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
