Description We are looking for several IoT Security Associates for short-term temporary roles at our IoT laboratory at our Basingstoke site. The role is based within a team that is friendly, supportive and values growth, work-life balance, and collaboration. In this position, you will be responsible for Testing and Report writing of our customers’ IoT devices, ensuring compliance with Radio Equipment Directive (2014/53/EU) using the assessment criteria defined in EN 18031-1/2/3:2024 The initial contract is for 3 months (June–August), with the possibility of a 3-month extension. Responsibilities Conduct document review and execute testing through following instructions by other members of the team for IoT devices and the system under assessment. Transform customer-provided information into a final assessment report. Keep up-to-date test records and records of analysis performed. Target-driven methodological approach to meet customers' demand. To undertake any ad-hoc duties as may be required related to the Lab working environment. Time management, prioritisation of test activities, and task switching. Qualifications Currently pursuing or holding a degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Cyber Security, Engineering, or Science. Basic knowledge of Word, Excel is essential. Basic understanding of IoT devices, and ability to interact with the IoT devices such as smart TV, network printer etc. Basic understanding of communications technologies such as USB, Serial, Ethernet, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi. Willing to learn and follow instructions to conduct security testing. Basic report writing skills to effectively present findings and recommendations. You should be willing to learn new technical concepts and implement them.
