Role Overview:
At GreatStar, 'Details Lead to Success' is our core value. We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to develop new business and expand existing relationships. You will manage onboarding and operations of Key and National Accounts, develop strategic plans to meet sales targets, enhance brand visibility, and promote our products nationally to grow market share. Collaboration with sales and marketing teams across the UK and China, along with developing cross-functional relationships, will be key. Your main focus will be creating demand for our brands and managing key accounts effectively while staying aligned with market trends.
Main Responsibilities:
* Identify new business opportunities, including markets, clients, partnerships, and products/services.
* Develop strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.
* Build relationships with new clients, assess their needs, and propose solutions.
* Negotiate contracts and annual trading agreements.
* Coordinate distribution and product delivery to customers.
* Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to meet sales goals.
* Attend industry conferences and events to network and stay informed of trends.
* Create sales forecasts and work proactively to achieve them.
* Understand our products, competitors, and market positioning.
* Develop and sustain long-term customer relationships.
Required Skills:
* Several years of Business Development and National Account Management experience in the Power & Hand tool market within the UK.
* Strong analytical and organizational skills.
* Good industry contacts and market knowledge.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft D365.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Willingness to travel as needed.
* Reside within 90 minutes of the Head Office in Yeovil.
