About the Role
£12.21 FOR ALL AGES - 16+
Are you ready to dive into an exciting opportunity? If you have a lifeguard qualification, that's fantastic! If not, don’t worry—we’ll provide you with the training you need through the NPLQ course to kickstart your lifeguarding career.
As a lifeguard at our Splash Waterworld, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a blast while staying safe in the pool and on the flumes. Your attention to detail and exceptional customer service will shine as you:
* Monitor pool activities to ensure guest safety.
* Engage with guests and promote fun poolside activities.
* Create memorable experiences for everyone.
This role offers flexible contracts ranging from 8 to 35 hours per week, perfect for students or anyone looking for a dynamic work schedule. Start dates are available now through September, so you can jump right in!
Availability: You’ll need to be open to a mix of midweek and weekend shifts, including evening finishes.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Confident and friendly, able to engage with guests of all ages.
* A strong swimmer with great attention to detail.
* Reliable, flexible, and punctual, ready to supervise areas independently when needed.
If you’re successful, you’ll be invited to a Butlin’s swim test, which includes:
* Swimming 50m in under 75 seconds.
* Treading water.
* Surface diving.
* Climbing out of the pool unaided.
Note: Parental permission is required for applicants under 18.
