This role is to join a highly regarded data centre company, upon joining you will be part of a diverse team of design specialists all supporting one another in their specialist capacities.

Responsibilities
* As an integral member of the consultancy, you will be developing designs for mechanical systems for data centre projects globally.
* The role will include supporting meetings with the client, contractors, and other designers.
* Site visits will also be required to monitor whether the construction is in accordance with the design and to resolve site queries.
* Supporting senior management in business and technical development.
* Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team and assist with their professional development.
* Coordinating work with engineers of other disciplines to ensure production of deliverables to agreed timelines and within budget.
* Produce detailed and performance specification for the discipline subject to review by colleagues prior to issue.
* Produce detailed equipment and carry out detailed calculations.
* System modelling
Qualifications
* MEng / BEng Mechanical Engineering or Building Services, with chartered status or working towards chartership.
* A proven track record of developing complex mechanical designs and supporting the delivery.
* Able to work using your own initiative with minimal supervision on all technical aspects of your discipline or have specific specialist experience in data centre design.
* Be able to work closely with other team members.
* Experience of manging projects.
* Have a strong desire for career progression allied to improving skills and professional development
