Blood of Aurora is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented audio editor to support the post-production of podcast and interview recordings for publication on Substack and additional digital channels.
This role involves simple but high-quality editing, with a focus on clarity, warmth, and a polished listening experience aligned with the artistic and contemplative tone of the Blood of Aurora platform.
Scope of Work:
Clean and reduce background noise
Remove hums, clicks, and distracting artifacts
Balance levels between speakers
Light EQ, compression, and tonal enhancement
Master audio for clear, consistent playback across devices
Export final files optimized for Substack, streaming, and social distribution
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience editing podcasts or spoken-word recordings
Strong ear for natural, warm sound (not overly processed)
Efficient workflow and reliable turnaround times
Ability to follow simple editing guidelines and maintain consistency across episodes
Familiarity with Substack or podcast publishing workflows is a plus

Episodes typically range from 20–60 minutes
Flexible schedule with clear communication expectations
We're looking for someone who values clarity, subtlety, and emotional presence in sound, and who can help us bring conversations to life with care and precision.
Contract duration of less than 1 month. with 30 hours per week.
