Starting with a minimum 8-hour weekly contract, this role offers opportunities to develop into an Instructor position. About Us Since opening in April 2021, Parthian Climbing Southampton has been a hub for climbers of all abilities. Our state-of-the-art centre includes: Bouldering, top-roping, lead climbing, speed climbing, and numerous auto-belays. A replica of the 2021 Tokyo Olympics bouldering wall, built by Entre-Prises. A welcoming environment for climbers of all ages and experience levels. Visitors also enjoy delicious, locally sourced food from our café, a dedicated training gym, and a fully stocked climbing shop. Your Responsibilities As a Trainee Climbing Instructor, you’ll play a vital role in our community, including: Welcoming customers and assisting with bookings, queries, and phone calls. Selling our climbing services, gear, and café products. Preparing and serving food in the café. Assisting with the running of Instructor lead climbing sessions. What We’re Looking For We’d love to hear from you if you’re: Warm, energetic, and dedicated to exceptional customer service. Passionate about climbing and eager to share that passion. Open to learning and developing your skills to become an instructor. Available for evenings and weekends (essential). Aged 18 and a competent 6a or above lead climber.
