Violence Against Women & Girls (VAWG) Project Officer

Location: Ealing

Salary: £52,194 - £54,267 per annum (inclusive) Grade 12

Vacancy Type: Fixed-term contract until 31 March 2026

The Council have an exciting new opportunity as Violence Against Women & Girls (VAWG) Project Officer available on a full-time fixed term contract until 31 March 2026 with the possibility of extension subject to future funding.

The Role

This is a pivotal role supporting the delivery of Ealings strategic response to male violence against women and girls. You will coordinate borough-wide initiatives, lead on local research and awareness campaigns, and work closely with partners to ensure their services are responsive, inclusive, and impactful.

As the Violence Against Women & Girls (VAWG) Project Officer you will:

* Coordinate and monitor the boroughs MVAWG Action Plan and ensure timely delivery of key milestones.
* Lead on hyper-local research projects focusing on understanding the prevalence of sexual violence within a target area
* Organise and facilitate multi-agency partnership meetings and Domestic Homicide Reviews.
* Deliver impactful training, awareness campaigns, and community engagement initiatives.
* Support funding bids and evaluate commissioned services to improve outcomes for women and girls.

Skills And Qualifications

* Strong knowledge of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 and related legislation.
* Experience working in the VAWG sector, with a background in project coordination or service delivery.
* Excellent communication and partnership-building skills across statutory and voluntary sectors.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities, conduct research, and translate findings into action.
* Experience in delivering training, campaigns, or awareness-raising activities (desirable).
* A commitment to equality, diversity, and survivor-centred approaches.
