The Assistant Reception Manager is responsible for facilitating guest experience in a unique and sincere way.
* Responsible for the daily running of the reception team; Supervisors, Receptionists
* Be the first point of contact for the guests seeking managerial attention
* Ensure high standards of personal presentation and appearance are maintained at all times by all Reception teams
* Assist Supervisors in effective management of their tasks
* Create a supportive work atmosphere for new members joining the Front of House team
* Coordinate implementation of new procedures
* Manage and assist the team with complaints internally and externally.
* Monitor floats and cash handling, including the Front Office safe
* Ensure that Reception teams have effective handovers taking at the beginning and end of the shift
If you’re our ideal Assistant Reception Manager, you will have;
* Hotel PMS experience, ideally Opera PMS or Opera Cloud
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Excellent organisation skills
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Excellent interpersonal skills and possession of a full understanding of professional ethics, decorum and social skills.
* Must be able to adapt to different audiences dictated by culture and country or origin.
