Location: LE16 7FQ, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, East Midlands, UKThe Project Engineer will work as a member of the Retro Fit team to manage and provide the necessary engineering detail so that our solutions can be built safely, to all relevant standards and cost effectively. Project Engineers work on multiple projects with a value from £50k up to £5 million and will ensure the development of engineered solutions from customer commitment through implementation and handover. The role is based out of our Market Harborough office and will be expected to travel regularly to our sites across Northern Europe.WHAT YOULL BE HANDLINGTranslate customer request into a design solution with support from Project Engineering Team Leader (& others)Review of design operational feasibilityReview of Material Flow Diagram in conjunction with Simulation deptValue engineering of solutionPreparation of appropriate system layouts to provide solution to customer requirementsPreparation of site mechanical installation packsPreparation of detailed specifications and design documents needed for productionReview of equipment design and specifications to ensure standardisation of design across all projects.Review of equipment throughputs and capacities in conjunction with Simulation DeptPreparation of the project technical summaryTechnical specifications for 3rd party equipmentTechnical analysis of 3rd party equipment quotationsDevelopment of design risk assessments and the review of projects to ensure that all current legislation is fully complied withParticipation in regular design team reviews including the preparation of adequate minutesParticipation in project review meetingsSurveying of sites and installationsManagement of general project documentationAssistance in the preparation of H&S files / technical files.
