Our client manufactures quality approved precision pumps and valves for the automotive sector. Due to expansion, they are looking to grow the team and looking for a loyal, committed and experienced CNC Miller for this multi:faceted precision machining role.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC milling machines
* Interpret engineering drawings to manufacture components to exacting aerospace standards
* Perform quality checks using precision measuring equipment
* Liaise with customer contacts and contribute to the quoting process
* Excellent attention to detail and take pride in producing high quality work
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience operating CNC machines in a precision engineering environment
* Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications
* Ideally have worked in (AS9100) aerospace, defence or (ISO9001) motorsport environment
* Ideally have experience machining titanium, Inconel and/or stainless steel
