Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Brighton (Hybrid - 3 days)

Our client, a leading financial services organisation is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team.
This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of deployment pipelines for .NET applications running on-premises Windows IIS Servers. You will be pivotal in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and stability of CI/CD processes, while supporting developers with any deployment-related issues
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines (CI/CD)
* Deploy .NET applications to complex IIS server environments
* Use Git (PR processes, peer reviews, controlled code changes)
* Manage config file replacements for different environments within pipelines
* Use PowerShell for server management during deployments
* Support developers with troubleshooting pipeline failures
Skills
* Proven experience managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
* In-depth understanding of Git workflows and best practices for version control.
* Solid knowledge of Windows IIS environments and application deployments.
* Proficient in PowerShell Scripting for automation and server management.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with developers.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, especially in diagnosing deployment issues.
* Exposure to Azure cloud and SQL Server environments is a plus.
Environment & Tools
* Primary: Azure DevOps, IIS, .NET stack, Git, PowerShell
* Secondary: Azure cloud, SQL Server, Strong deployment process discipline, version control, and environment-specific configuration management.
