I'm currently working with a fantastic client in the Brighthouse area who is looking to add a Telecoms Systems Engineer to their expanding technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in telecoms, networking, and installations, who is looking for a varied and rewarding role.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Carrying out electrical and telephony installations at customer sites
* Installing, configuring, and maintaining hosted telephony systems
* Working with Cisco Meraki equipment
* Performing cabling and network infrastructure work
* Conducting network equipment configuration, testing, and troubleshooting
* Supporting both new installations and existing infrastructure
* Engaging with clients in a professional and customer-focused manner
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar telecoms/network engineer role
* Solid knowledge of hosted telephony systems and VoIP
* Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki solutions
* Strong cabling and installation background (Cat5e, Cat6, etc.)
* Ideally CCNA certified or working towards certification
* Full UK driving license (site visits required)
