Garden Centre Team Leaders
Part Time 24 Hours Per Week Including Weekends. Temporary Contract.

As a Team Leader you will lead, inspire, and develop an amazing team and ensure all customers have a great in‑store experience. This role is a combination of physically demanding work in all types of weather, assisting customers & maintaining the department. Supervisory experience in retail/previous retail experience preferable.

Duties
* Opening & closing the store in the absence of the manager.
* Excellent customer service.
* Organising team schedules and any staff issues.
* Evaluating employee performance and providing training and guidance as needed.
* Filling in for absent employees and assisting teams to successfully complete projects.
* Ensuring that employees follow company policies as well as health and safety regulations.
* Ensuring a high and consistent standard of customer service.
* Cashing up, banking.
* Assist the centre manager in the running of the centre, supporting him in all areas of health and safety, payroll and financial matters.
* Oversee the effective running of the plant area – ensuring plant care, commerciality, maximising sales and lowering wastage are all achieved.
