Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and adaptable IT Technician to provide rapid technical support across all areas of the business while ensuring our IT systems remain secure, efficient, and future-ready. This role is pivotal in keeping our teams productive, strengthening our cyber security posture, and supporting the implementation of innovative IT solutions in collaboration with external providers and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide responsive, day-to-day IT support to all employees, resolving hardware, software, and network issues quickly and effectively.
* Act as the first point of contact for IT-related queries, escalating to external providers where required.
* Work with external vendors to source, implement, and maintain cutting-edge IT hardware and software solutions.
* Take overall responsibility, manage and maintain the company's cyber and data security systems, ensuring compliance with best practices.
* Oversee and coordinate the ongoing management of our Cyber Essentials accreditation process.
* Monitor and maintain company networks, servers, and cloud systems, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability.
* Manage the setup, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, mobile devices, and user accounts.
* Support the rollout of new systems, upgrades, and updates to ensure smooth integration and minimal disruption.
* Document IT processes, maintain asset registers, and track software licensing to ensure compliance.
* Train and support employees on IT best practices, security awareness, and efficient use of systems.
* Proactively identify opportunities for IT improvements and contribute to long-term digital transformation initiatives.
