Your Responsibilities
1. Safely and efficiently operate a limited range of packaging line equipment in accordance with the production plan, ensuring product quality standards are met as part of the Packhall Production team.
2. Responsible for personal safety and that of others working nearby.
3. Maintain product quality standards by following documented procedures, ensuring cleanliness, GMP compliance, accurate record-keeping, and participating in audits.
4. Ensure safe start-up, operation, and shutdown of plant and machinery, including product, packaging, and size changeovers.
5. Perform basic fault finding and repair activities on packaging lines.
6. Assist the maintenance department with more complex line issues.
7. Communicate effectively between shifts, departments, and organizational layers.
8. Develop wider equipment knowledge.
9. Participate in Performance Excellence improvement activities where appropriate.
Your Profile
* Educated to GCSE (or equivalent)
* Good basic Math & English skills
* Experience in manufacturing/factory environment beneficial but not essential
* Basic IT skills
* Ability to learn quickly
* Problem-solving skills
* Good communication skills
* Reliable
