Head of Sales – Events Catering Salary: Up to £50,000 + CommissionLocation: LondonOur client is an award-winning event catering company who are looking for a Head of Sales to join their growing team. This role involves a high volume of inbound enquiries, as well as driving new business. Our client is looking for an experienced individual with a proactive approach to sales and a passion for building client relationships.Main Duties:Manage the reactive and proactive sales processMaintain and build relationships with venuesProduce bespoke event proposals in line with the clients budgets and requirementsGenerate leads, build and nurture client relationshipsAttend client meetings, show rounds, tastings and networking eventsProactively seek opportunities to be listed at new and existing venuesCarry out competitor analysisProduce weekly and monthly sales reportsRequirements:Sales Management experience from an event caterer or catering within a venue is essential.Proven track record of success in the full sales cycleExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organisation skillsAbility to think outside the box and be creativeStrong negotiation skillsPassionate about the events industry
