Role Overview
As an SEN Teaching Assistant in Tottenham, you will work with pupils who may struggle with emotional regulation, behaviour, and engagement with learning. Many pupils benefit from consistent adult support, clear routines, and strong positive role models.
You will work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to deliver structured support and behaviour strategies designed to help pupils succeed.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small-group SEN support
* Support pupils with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
* Assist with behaviour management and de-escalation techniques
* Encourage engagement and positive learning behaviours
* Support pupils during transitions and unstructured times
* Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Maintain safeguarding and behaviour records
* Follow school policies and procedures
