Recruit UK is working on behalf of a highly respected, independent financial planning firm based in Southport. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an adviser who values flexibility, ethical advice, and long-term client relationships over product pushing and sales targets.
This is an existing Client Servicing position. You will be provided with a Client bank from day one.
The Opportunity:
You’ll be joining a firm that offers full back-office and compliance support, freeing you up to focus on providing high-quality, independent advice. Whether you bring your own client bank or are looking for fresh leads and introductions, the firm can accommodate the right individual.
This is a Client Servicing role, inheriting a large client bank of mixed background individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver independent financial planning advice to individuals and business clients
* Advise across pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning
* Build and maintain long-term client relationships based on trust and transparency
* Ensure compliance with FCA guidelines and internal policies
* Maintain up-to-date, accurate client records and suitability reports
What You Need:
* Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS / DipFA or equivalent)
* A track record of providing regulated financial advice
* Ability to build and maintain your own client relationships
* Strong ethics, professionalism, and self-motivation
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
