What You'll Be Doing as an SEMH Teaching Assistant: Deliver tailored 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour. Implement strategies to improve emotional regulation, resilience, and behaviour management. Assist the class teacher in creating a calm, structured, and engaging classroom environment. Collaborate with SENCOs and external professionals to track student progress. Use your knowledge of trauma-informed practice and de-escalation to support pupils effectively.
