Naturezones is a unique living natural history museum on the Isle of Wight, dedicated to educating the public on the importance of protecting and enhancing wildlife habitats.
Our education programmes cater to a wide audience, including school children, home-educated children, college students, and adult learners.
We are seeking volunteers who love nature and enjoy engaging with people! If you're interested in representing us at fundraisers and education days, this opportunity is for you.
Volunteers will assist at events throughout the year, both off-site and on our reserve, helping to run activities and craft tables at our Nature booths.
Join us to learn about our work and explore the diversity of species in our wildflower meadows, including both plants and animals!
Skills
Passion for nature and enthusiasm for talking to people about it are essential.
If you enjoy crafts and managing activities at our Nature tables, you'll find this volunteer role rewarding.
We suggest a trial period of 3 months to ensure a good fit for both parties.
