Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to seniors in a care home setting. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing care plans tailored to each resident's individual needs.
Responsibilities
* Supervise daily activities and ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
* Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
* Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
* Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other staff members to ensure continuity of care.
* Maintain accurate records of residents' progress and any changes in their condition.
* Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance the quality of life for residents.
* Participate in training sessions and staff meetings to improve skills and knowledge related to senior care.
Experience
* Previous experience in senior care or a similar role is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates who are eager to learn.
* Strong leadership qualities with the ability to supervise and motivate others.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with residents and team members.
* Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping and communication is advantageous.
