Job Overview
Winchester House School seeks a teacher who will bring enthusiasm and joy to their classroom, enthusing all pupils to achieve their potential and nurturing those who aspire to excel in English.
We set out not just to teach children how to read, but to teach them to be independent readers with a love of books and stories, as well as ensuring all our pupils are exposed to poetry, plays, and classic and modern literature. We also have a forward-thinking outlook: embracing not just the use but also the teaching of ICT within our lessons.
Beyond the classroom, we are looking for an individual who is “whole-school”, inspiring Housians to be true Change Makers.
The post is suitable for experienced and recently qualified teachers.
