Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Senior Electrical Engineer, or a mid-level engineer eager to step up, who has a solid background in Building Projects to join our team in Richmond, VA office.
Responsibilities
* Lead electrical engineer on a variety of multi-disciplinary projects, overseeing each phase from proposal and design to bidding and construction.
* Project Management, Business Development, and Leadership Skills are highly desirable.
* Collaborate effectively with mechanical, civil, and structural engineers, as well as project architects.
* Perform comprehensive code reviews to ensure adherence to regulations.
* Support and supervise junior team members, when applicable, by effectively delegating project tasks.
* Engage in substantive discussions with both external and internal clients.
* Execute detailed and effective deliverables to meet project needs.
Qualifications
* A bachelor’s degree is required.
* A minimum of ten years of experience in an architecture/engineering consulting firm is preferred.
* A Professional Engineer\'s license from Virginia is preferred.
* Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD is preferred.
* Experience with electrical distribution systems, power, lighting, utilities, as well as communication, security, and fire alarm systems is highly desirable.
