Responsibilities of the Auto Electrician
6. Installing 12v and v wiring looms & electrical components
7. Fitting and wiring of circuit breakers, battery to battery chargers, fuse boxes, solar panels
8. Installation of audio/media entertainment equipment – stereos, speakers, amplifiers, roof monitors – in house training on this can and will be provided
9. Installation of lighting equipment
10. Conducting fault finding and diagnostic work, as and when required
11. Good housekeeping & cleanliness generally and of own workspace
12. Adherence to H&S rules and regulations
Key Skills & Experience of the Auto Electrician
13. Previous experience of working in an Automotive / Auto Electrical role
14. Ability to work under pressure and to specific deadlines
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
16. Excellent communication & organisational skills
17. A keen eye for detail, quality & a high standard of work
Experience & Qualifications for the Auto Electrician vacancy
We are looking to appoint an experienced auto electrician, who can work independently, and ideally holding 18th edition qualification. Whilst NVQ or equivalent qualification would be an advantage, we are happy to consider applications for QBE (Qualified by experience), particularly if you have experience of working in the leisure / caravan / motorhome industry.
