What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of radar technology. Your responsibilities will include:
* Applying Systems Engineering Principles: Utilize ISO 15288 to guide the design of systems throughout the entire engineering lifecycle—from requirement definition to system integration and beyond.
* Requirements Management: Decompose and manage requirements at both system and sub-system levels using tools like IBM DOORS Next.
* System Design and Modelling: Conduct design decomposition and modelling, defining internal and external interfaces while managing architectural models with CATIA Magic (Cameo).
* Acceptance Strategies: Help define strategies to verify compliance with requirements at each design level, supporting the production of customer acceptance evidence.
* Technical Reviews: Assist in technical reviews and verification of engineering designs and documentation to meet business, legislative, and customer standards.
* Data Analysis: Collect and analyze real-world system data to enhance performance, reliability, and usage patterns, driving evidence-based improvements.
* Complex Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets using statistical techniques and visualization tools to identify trends and inform design decisions.
Your Skills and Experiences:
We’re looking for candidates who possess:
* A degree or equivalent in a technology, engineering, or science-related discipline.
* A solid understanding of engineering lifecycle principles and the ability to think holistically about complex problems.
* Experience in Systems Engineering, demonstrating knowledge and practical application.
* Proficiency in data analysis using statistical methods, scripting languages (e.g., MATLAB), and data visualization tools.
* Hands-on experience with complex systems for collecting, validating, and interpreting operational data is a plus.
