About the Role:
As a Year 2 teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and stimulating learning environment for young learners. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, ensuring every child’s individual needs are met. You’ll work alongside a supportive team of teaching professionals and contribute to the school’s ethos and ongoing development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that motivate Year 2 pupils
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and tailored support
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom atmosphere
* Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and support staff to enhance learning
* Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians regarding pupil progress
* Contribute to the school’s development initiatives and wider community activities
About You:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven experience delivering effective teaching and a passion for primary education
* Strong knowledge of the Year 2 National Curriculum and assessment processes
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to thrive within a dynamic, collaborative team environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
