This device has many benefits; it can be operated by non-specialist staff, requiring fewer peripheral resources than alternative invasive procedures (biopsy), not to mention the obvious patient preference for avoiding an invasive biopsy procedure.
The device is a relatively high-priced item, so their preference is for someone who is accustomed to the longer-term pipeline building that these processes typically entail.
Ideally, you will have a track record in some capital equipment arena, or at least some form of medical devices, where deal sizes are significant and so procurement processes can be longer and more involved.
