Job Title: Finance Admin Apprentice
Apprenticeship: Level 3 Business Admin Administrator Apprenticeship
Location: Brighton
Salary: £7.55 - £11.44 per hour (equivalent to £14,741 - ££22,308 per annum)
Full time: Monday - Friday, 37.5hrs per week
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the growing team as a Finance Admin Apprentice. You will gain hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification in Business administration. As part of a forward-thinking, client-focused team, you'll learn how to manage and processes accurately and efficiently, while developing your administrative and communication skills. You'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations for a variety of clients and gain valuable insights into finance, compliance, and client service.
This role is perfect for someone looking to start a career in finance who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a supportive and dynamic environment. You'll be working alongside experienced professionals, with structured mentoring and real opportunities for progression upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics at Grade 4 / C or above is desired
Key Responsibilities
* Managing finance tasks such as company CIS, sick pay, SSP, SMP, SPP, starters, leavers, and P45s
* Monitoring and calculating holiday pay
* Communicating with clients via phone, email, and letter regarding queries
* Maintaining accurate and confidential records
* Liaising professionally with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
Apprenticeship Information
You will be enrolled on the Business Service Level 3 Apprenticeship, typically completed over 18 months. This includes:
* Regular workplace-based learning supported by your training provider and line manager
* A minimum of 6 hours per week of off-the-job training
* Development of skills, knowledge, and behaviours aligned to the apprenticeship standard
* Completion of a portfolio and end-point assessment
* Functional Skills support in English or Maths if not previously achieved at Level 2
Progression
* Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity to secure a permanent role within the business, with potential to continue developing your career in payroll and finance.
