What is the job about?
As the Installation Assistant you will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall customer experience and fostering long-term relationships with our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers and staff to facilitate the pre-installation survey and subsequent installation itself including completion of all associated paperwork.
What exactly will you do?
* Client Liaison.
* Understanding clients’ requirements and build installation plans that suit their needs.
* Scope projects and provide detailed plans and options for implementation (including pricing).
* Monitor and support the delivery of work from electrical engineers, providing support to the Senior Electrician and their management of remote engineers.
* Co-ordinate installations including stock, tools, staffing as well as health & safety requirements.
What we’re looking for
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising and managing multiple initiatives at once to meet deadlines.
* Experience in a customer service or customer support role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
* Comprehensive computer literacy including proficient use of MS Office tools.
* Excellent Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour, capable of adapting communication style to various customer needs.
* Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven ability to identify customer needs, think critically, and provide appropriate solutions or escalate issues when necessary.
Bonus points
* Experience of installation administration.
* Experience in delivering electrical projects for multiple clients.
* Experience of full project lifecycle from concept, scoping and requirements definition through to successful delivery and closure.
