Bawso is the lead organisation in Wales providing practical and emotional support to black minority ethnic (BME) and migrant victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence, human trafficking, Female Genital Mutilation and forced marriage. We are looking to fill the following position on our outreach team. Outreach Support Worker Location: Must be willing to travel throughout Mid and West Wales. Ideally, candidates will be based in or reside within Pembrokeshire or Carmarthenshire. Hours: 18.5 hours per week Salary: £ 26,300 per annum pro rata We are seeking a dedicated individual to work within a community development framework, focusing on supporting women and children who are unable or choose not to seek refuge. The role involves building and maintaining strong networks, developing best practices for both staff and service users, and working closely with the Head of Regional Services (North Wales) to ensure effective systems and procedures are in place. This is a vital position for someone passionate about empowering women and promoting community-based support.
