We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Planner/Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing schedules, resources, and project timelines to ensure efficient operations and timely project completion. The Planner/Scheduler will work closely with various departments to improve productivity, optimise resource allocation, and support overall project planning efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Scheduling:

- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of tasks and milestones.

- Coordinate with project managers and team members to gather project requirements and timelines.

Resource Management:

- Analyse resource availability and allocate resources effectively across multiple projects.

- Monitor resource workload and make adjustments as necessary to enhance productivity.

Data Management:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project schedules, resource allocation, and budget expenditures.

- Prepare and distribute regular status reports and updates to stakeholders.

Communication:

- Act as a liaison between departments to ensure smooth communication pertaining to project timelines and resource availability.

- Facilitate meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and potential solutions.

- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance scheduling efficiency.

- Utilise planning software and tools effectively to optimise scheduling processes.

Problem Solving:

- Proactively address scheduling conflicts and resource constraints, offering creative solutions to meet deadlines.

- Analyse data and trends to forecast potential issues and implement mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience:

- 5 years of experience in a planning or scheduling role, preferably

- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, Smartsheet) and scheduling tools.

Skills:

- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
