Your new role
This role offers a balanced mix of audit and accounts work, providing exposure to a diverse client portfolio across various sectors. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit and financial reporting services, mentoring junior staff, and supporting client relationships.
Key responsibilities
1. Lead audit assignments from planning through topletion for a range of clients
2. Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and FRS 102
3. Review and finalise accounts prepared by junior staff
4. Manage client relationships and act as the main point of contact during engagements
5. Ensurepliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards
6. Assist with corporation taxputations and liaise with tax specialists as needed
7. Support the development and training of junior team members
8. Identify opportunities for process improvements and added value services
What you'll need to succeed
9. ACA, ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
10. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice
11. Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and auditing standards
12. Proven experience in leading audits and preparing accounts
13. Excellentmunication and client-facing skills
14. Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
