* Supporting community resilience through outreach and partnership with voluntary, community, and faith sectors.
* Contributing to local and regional public health policy development and strategy.
* Leading the nursing contribution to winter pressures and seasonal health challenges.
* Acting as senior advisor and professional lead for public health nursing within the organisation.
* Supporting workforce development and capacity-building for staff in public health and preventative roles.

What We’re Looking For
Essential:

* Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
* Evidence of ongoing professional development.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (location not accessible by public transport; travel required).
* Significant senior-level experience in public health nursing, health protection, or population health.
* Strong understanding of communicable disease control, outbreak response, and epidemiology.
* Experience in policy development, preventative outreach, and system-level leadership.
* Familiarity with multi-agency working and emergency preparedness planning.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to translate evidence into policy and action.
* Excellent leadership, influencing, and partnership-building skills.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Skilled in risk assessment, priority setting, and programme planning.
* Commitment to equity, inclusion, prevention, and improving population health outcomes.

Desirable:

* Postgraduate qualification in Public Health, Health Protection, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Why Join Us?

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in population health. You’ll lead meaningful preventative initiatives, support communities during critical health challenges, and shape public health policy and practice across our organisation.
