Technical Delivery Manager Location: 1-2x/week in Leeds Rate: £550/day Inside IR35 Clearance Required: BPSS Duration: 8 Months Experience within Public Sector/Public Health is highly preferred About the Role: We're seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex, high-impact digital and data projects within the public sector. You'll play a key role in managing cross-functional teams, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of technology solutions that make a real difference to citizens and public services. This role requires a strong understanding of agile delivery, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to navigate the unique challenges of public sector environments. Key Responsibilities: Own end-to-end delivery of technical and data-focused projects across multiple workstreams Lead multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, analysts, and product managers Work closely with public sector stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and success metrics Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and changes to delivery plans Ensure compliance with government standards and frameworks (e.g. GDS, DDaT) Champion agile delivery methods and continuous improvement Provide clear, regular reporting and assurance to senior leadership and delivery boards Essential Skills & Experience: Proven experience delivering digital or data programmes in the UK public sector Strong understanding of technical project delivery - ideally within data, cloud, or software development contexts Familiarity with agile delivery frameworks (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) and associated tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence) Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including senior government stakeholders Experience working within governance-heavy or regulated environments Ability to lead teams through uncertainty and deliver against tight timelines Knowledge of GDS service standards, assurance gates, or government procurement frameworks (nice to have) Apply now or email for more information
