Talent Guardian are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a company in Poole. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for accurately maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the overall financial operations of the company. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of proficiency in accounting principles, exceptional organisational skills, and a commitment to accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software Sage 200.
* Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
* Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory filings.
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
* Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with other team members to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
* Provide financial analysis and insights to inform decision-making processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Level 4 AAT qualification or equivalent.
* Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
* Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage 200.
